Birthday Treats

Student Birthday Celebrations at Rosedale

Due to the prevalence of food allergies, we are asking that all students not bring edible birthday treats (cupcakes, donuts, cookies, pizza, etc.) to school. 

Students are welcome to bring small, non-edible, birthday “favors” for their classmates- examples include stickers, pencil, glow-stick or other kid-friendly items (the local Dollar Stores have a great selection of these). 

Each day, students with birthdays will be called down to the office to receive a birthday pencil and card from the principal.  Students with birthdays in the summer will be celebrated the last week of school.  It’s a great way for us to make each student’s birthday at school a memorable event.
