Please see below for various opportunities to keep your children's brains physically, academically, and social-emotionally active during the summer months!  If your child received an Individual Reading Improvement Plan, this website and the accompanying links serve as your summer read at home /support plan.  

i-READY and RAZ KIDS
Until early August, students can still take advantage of their i-Ready reading or math licenses (as applicable) and their RAZ KIDS accounts (all students).  Contact your child's teacher if you do not have login information for home.

KHAN ACADEMY
No matter what interests your child, Khan Academy will have something for them.  Khan Academy is a free online resource covering a wide variety of subjects.

LIVONIA PTSA SUPPORTS EARLY LITERACY
Livonia PTSA Council and Livonia Public Library have partnered together to provide Early Literacy Volunteers (ELVs) to assist elementary students (grades K-5) in Livonia Public Schools with reading and other literacy skills during the summer.

  • ELVs is currently enrolling children who need additional reading assistance and whose families are willing to commit to at least one day a week for the duration of the program.  

  • If you are concerned about your child's reading progress please consider participating in this excellent (and FREE) opportunity for additional support during the summer at our city's beautiful (and air conditioned) Public Library!

Visit Livonia YMCA to view the selection of events and activities at the Livonia YMCA.

MOBYMAX
MobyMax is a free online resource that students can use for math, reading, or language arts.  Each student has his or her own username and password.

PBS KIDS BADGES

STUDENTS HELPING STUDENTS
Students in grades K and 1 who have an Individual Reading Improvement Plan (I-RIP) have received invitations to our Students Helping Students summer literacy program.
