If your child will need bus transportation to and from school this school year, please pay close attention to the following message from the transportation department.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, our goal is to assign bus seats only to students who plan to use school transportation on a regular basis. We’ve seen a growing number of students assigned to routes who rarely — if ever — ride the bus. In fact, we currently have several hundred students assigned to routes who do not regularly use the service.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR BUS SERVICE:
1. Log into Parent Connect (you may access from the LPS website, under the Parents tab or via your school website’s Parents tab).This process is most easily completed on a computer, rather than on a cell phone. If you have trouble logging into your Parent Connect account, please email parentconnect@livoniapublicschools.org.
2. Once you are logged in, click on the “Back to School Checklist” red link at the top of the screen.
From there, click on the “Update Information” button next to the “Updates Incomplete” message that appears in red.
3. Click on “Transportation,” then select “Yes” from the mini-dropdown menu in the center of the screen.
4. Click on “Updates Complete” and then “Return to main menu” at the top left. Your request will automatically be submitted to our Transportation Department. Routes will be posted in late August in Parent Connect, under the Transportation section.
